OLD GLORY RELAY CELEBRATION
Thompson Machinery is a proud sponsor of the Team Red, White, & Blue Old Glory Relay.
In May 2025, twelve courageous military Veterans will attempt to set a world record by carrying a single American flag across the nation in a transcontinental relay, from San Diego, CA to Washington, DC. The relay will challenge the limits of human endurance, traversing diverse terrains and weathering all conditions, day and night. That’s right! The flag never stops moving. The mission? Set a world record for relaying a single American flag across the country while raising $1 million for Veteran health and wellness.
On Thursday, May 15th, the relay will be making a stop at our LaVergne location as Old Glory makes its way through Middle Tennessee. Join us in celebrating our veterans who will be running in the relay with lunch, live music, and more.
